About Us
Since 1994, Grupo Litoral has become a leading company in the production, processing, and export of farm raised shrimp. Our farms and processing plant are located on the Gulf of Fonseca, in southern Honduras.
Our company has 1,400 acres dedicated exclusively to the harvest and production of farm raised shrimp (Penaeus Vannamei). Additionally, we also process Caribbean lobster (Panulirus Argus) when in season.

Our Plant and Process
Empacadora Litoral is a state of the art processing plant operating under BAP certification and HACCP regulations.
It's certified as a safe supplier by European authorities and a recognized establishment by the FDA in USA. All of our operations are executed under SENASA regulations, which is the highest Honduran health authority.
Empacadora Litoral can produce 100 tons of ice per day, ensuring we have the necessary resources to meet the demand and quality of our product. We have high technology freezing equipment consisting of forced-air freezers as well as two plate freezers with a freezing capacity of 55 tons per day. Our overall storage capacity can hold more than a million pounds finished product.
